How old do I need to be to work at Wet'n'Wild?

Team Members must be a minimum of 15 years of age to be employed by Wet'n'Wild Sydney. There will be certain age requirements for some positions.

What types of jobs will you have available?

Wet'n'Wild Sydney will have a large variety of jobs available, ranging from Lifeguards, Food & Beverage, Retail, Guest Services, Admissions, Technical Services and Security.

When will the park open to the public?

Wet'n'Wild Sydney is currently under construction and is scheduled to open at the end of 2013.

Am I able to choose what area I work in?

Yes, you can apply for positions in your chosen field. Please note that there will be certain requirements for specific jobs.

How will I know when positions are being advertised?

What will the financial benefit be for Sydney and NSW?

A detailed economic impact statement has been prepared for the park which found that the development of Wet'n'Wild Sydney will lead to;

• The creation of more than 300 full and part time jobs during the construction and ongoing operation of the Park
• Over $500 million turnover contribution to Western Sydney economy in first 10 years of operations

How much water will the park save?

Water efficiency is a top priority for Wet'n'Wild Sydney. Wet'n'Wild Sydney will save more than 50 million litres of water a year by using rainwater and recycled storm-water for 90% of the park's irrigation, wash-down and toilet flushing needs and using the latest water filtration technology that requires less backwashing. This represents a 30% saving on water use which we believe is a great sustainability outcome.

What upgrades are you considering for surrounding roads?

Village Roadshow has agreed to contribute more than $7 million towards funding road upgrades in the area.

How will guests be able to access the water park?

We have designed the park to cater for various modes of transport, including scheduled and tourist coaches, shuttle buses from nearby stations and car, motorbike and bicycle parking facilities.

How long will the project take to build?

We aim to open the park in December 2013, with a total of 42 major slides and attractions.

Will you employ locals?

Experience tells us that the majority of park employment will be generated locally, as will much of the flow on employment benefits for suppliers and associated industries and businesses.
